Bill and Laura married in 1936 and operated the funeral home together until his death in 1946. Laura continued to operate the business on a Widow’s license while raising their two children, Lynn and Bill in the residence above the funeral home.
Graduate of Holy Innocents Grade School-1952, Central Catholic High School-1956, Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science with highest honors-1962 and Duquesne University, BS in Business Administration -1963

Past board member and Treasurer of Allegheny Co. Funeral Directors Assn.
Past President, Secretary and Treasurer of Kiwanis Club of Sheraden, and Kiwanian of the Year in 1971 and 1973.
Past member of Parish Councils of Ascension Church in Ingram and Holy Innocents Church in Sheraden.
Graduate of Chartiers – Houston High School in Houston, PA – 1984, California University of PA, BS in Secondary Education, Biology – 1988, and the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science – 1989.
Past President of the Allegheny County Funeral Directors Assoc., the Kiwanis Club of Sheraden and Parish Council at the Church of the Ascension, Ingram. Pat is also a member of the American Society of Embalmers and a certified Funeral Celebrant.
Before joining with the funeral home in 1996, Pat was the Associate Dean of Students and Faculty at the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. Pat is still an adjunct instructor at the mortuary school where he teaches Funeral Home Management and Clinical Embalming.
